Not likely: I am not sure that you will notice an enormous improvement with l-tyrosine. However, you may be able to reduce your reliance on medications through gains in psychotherapy or neurofeedback interventions. I wish you well and good luck!

Dependency?: Do you drive a car? Do you hate dependency on your car? Have you tried to replace it with walking, biking, or public transportation? Or is that just not practical? Don't knock drugs that help you function normally. - Tyrosine is not an essential amino acid. It's made from phenylalanine. Under normal circumstances, consuming Tyr just reduces your requirement for Phe. Excess Phe is burned as fuel.
