Baker'a cyst: Sounds like an MRI or sono reading. Increased vascularity is from inflation itself. The inflammation can be from trauma, infection, osteoarthritis (wear and tear) or another inflammatory arthritis. The finding is nonspecific but bring it up with your orthopedist.

Leakage: Arthritis, trauma, and- or fluid leakage. If large may press on lymph and veins and have local clotting also.
