Blood sugar levels: No, not normal. The normal blood glucose level for non-diabetics, should be between 70 and 100 (mg/dl). Blood sugar levels for those without diabetes and who are not fasting should be below 125 mg/dl. Either way he is too high. One blood sugar reading is not enough to diagnose diabetes, but you should follow up with his primary care doctor.
