A member asked:

Echo shows slightly enlarged lv, doc says this could be normal for me, is this true?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

What symptoms did : You have to merit the echo? Enlarged lv infers excess work, ie blood pressure high, aortic valve tight. Asymmetric septal hypertrophy is a congenital state. Discuss with the consultant. Not clear what's going on.
