Can learning another language minimize the degree of stammering?

Not likely: Stammering or stuttering is indepedent of the languages spoken. Someone who stutters in one language will stutter in a second. But stutters can learn many languages. However, i will add that at some points in learning a new language the stutterer may stutter less often or more often in the new language because of the stage they are in.
