see Dr. if persists: You may have bitten your gums, or it may be a hemorrhagic cyst from some other cause. If the area does not improve over time, than get into see a doctor for an evaluation, best wishes.

Bloody ball: You need to have the area visualized, palpated, and possibly imaged, to determine the etiology. Please see your Dentist or an Oral Surgeon for initial examination of the area.
