Anecdotal or case: Reports support it. If it is affordable, enjoyable, and helpful, then do it. Medication is important for add but is not the only answer. Anything that helps skill development is worth using. Motivation by child and family is important. Here is opinion of dr. Sorry, it has no : proven beneficial effect & it irritates some kids. Multimodal treatment of ADHD-Primarily Inattentive Type = medication, behavioral therapy, parent behavioral training & environmental modifications at home & school, including a Section 504. See CHADD.org for details. Brain-balance training, kicking a hackey-sack, doesn't work, either.
