Anecdotal or case: Reports support it. If it is affordable, enjoyable, and helpful, then do it. Medication is important for add but is not the only answer. Sorry, it has no : proven beneficial effect & it irritates some kids. Multimodal treatment of ADHD-Primarily Inattentive Type = medication, behavioral therapy, parent behavioral training & environmental modifications at home & school, including a Section 504.
