Child psychiatrist: I'm sorry to hear of your daughter's difficulties. You can make sure she receives needed treatment from an experienced child psychiatrist and probably also a child psychologist. I'm not sure how she has been traumatized, but you can make sure she is safe from further harm. You can love her and be present with her, no matter what. Ask her therapist ; psychiatrist about specifics. Be well.

Find a good child: Psychologist and psychiatrist for your daughter. Develop a team approach which includes the therapeutic team, her pediatrician, teachers and you and her father. Play therapy for your daughter, parental guidance, a good educational plan and proper medications will help.

Mood Swings!!!: Certainly adhd, odd, and anxiety can cause extreme anger and mood swings and are often co-morbid (occurring together). The adderal can help the adhd and perhaps other symptoms. With severe mood swings and violence, i would be concerned about bipolar depression which is difficult to diagnose in children. You need to see a good child psychiatrist and a somatic experience (se) trained psychologist.

Mood swings: Are a concern in your description. Make sure the child psychiatrist is adept at ruling out bipolar disorder. Not to discount the other diagnosis but the issue is: antidepressants (ssri for anxiety e.g. PTSD) and psychostimulants (for adhd) can make mood more intended in a child who is genetically predisposed to bipolar disorder (this is known as kindling). Take care.
