Trust the test : Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. There are many options for cycle control.

Depends, sex?: If she had unprotected sex it is as likely as the time of her fertility made it. If she did not have sex, it is not at all likely - it might be nothing or it could be a problem a doctor should look into. Take her to a doctor and move ahead from there. Hopefully, it will be a normal variation, but have it checked. Best!

Pregnancy : If she is sexually active, i will suggest you have her take a pregnancy test. The earlier she knows what is going on the better. If she is not sexually active. There is no rush but she will need to visit a dr who will evaluate ; ascertain if she needs assistance in regulating her period. I always advocate for the use of condoms to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections. Thank you.
