Epigastric pain: Pain in epigastric area can be related to stomach, pancreas, heart, lung, gall bladder; musculoskeletal. You need chest xray, ekg , blood work, history, good physical exam; upper endoscopy if every thing is negative then "pin and needle pain" can be anxiety. Please see your doctor.
