How much eye goo is too much eye goo (mucus)?

no defined limit: The eye will collect mucus when it is dry or has certain illnesses. This can be annoying and may block vision. If you have enough that you are constantly wiping and putting eyedrops in the eyes, then you should have this evaluated by your ophthalmologist.

Eye goo: Too much eye goo may indicate an infection, especially if the eye is red and itchy. See an eye doctor for treatment.
