What is clomid (clomiphene) && how does it work?

Clomid (clomiphene): Clomid (clomiphene) is a nonsteroidal anti-estrogen. When taken orally it fools the body at the level of the brain and thinks there are lower levels of estrogen forcing more fsh to be produced which promotes growth of follicles and ovulation.
