Either One Is Fine: Most obs prefer to follow their pregnant patients for any problems in pregnancy. Ask your doc their preference and then decide which physician will see you. Most family medicine docs are comfortable taking care of pregnant patients but occasionally you will find someone who prefers the OB to provide all care. Establish your physician's preference early so you don't have to go fishing when needed.
