A member asked:

How long after having antibiotics does my baby have to wait before getting the mmr vaccine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on variables: A kid on antibiotics for a minor infection does not need to wait.It can be given the day the antibiotics are started. If the kid is marginal in their activity and willingness to drink and play, a delay until the child has recovered these patterns is advised. There is a lot of misinformation spread about avoiding vaccines leading to today's clusters of measles and whooping cough with deadly results.
