Yes and No: Known, >7 decades, that atherosclerosis typically begins in later childhood, yet not symptomatic for decades. At age 28 should still be low risk. Stress tests ; x-ray miss problems (because ds is in artery walls which expand at plaque locations) ; only detect advanced complications. Cholesterol not correct focus; optimal focus: lipoproteins (nmr particle test), glucose (hba1c), BP ; food: go hflc.
