Which is better , after wisdom tooth removal , amoxicillin or ampicillin?

Ampicillin/amoxicill: These are basically the same drug in terms of antibiotic efficacy. Amoxicillin is absorbed higher and more completely in the intestinal tract and so with less drug reaching the colon there may be fewer complications, like clostrid. Difficile infection. Choice is a toss up in terms of killing bacteria.
