not exactly: Once a person is infected with a strain of the human papilloma virus it integrates into the dna of the cells, so it can't technically be 'cleared', it can (and most often is) suppressed, meaning that a healthy immune system will keep the virus in check and prevent it from progressing into cervical cancer or precancer. Make sure you get regular pap smears to make sure it doesn't.
