Sorry, no simple rem: Sorry, but there are no simple remedies for a condition like macular amyloidosis (which I assume was confirmed by skin biopsy). You're right to avoid irritation. Also, Benadryl & similar medications can help with the itching. Beyond that, see a dermatologist for UV light therapy or laser therapy. Microdermabrasion won't work, will only make it worse. Lastly, steroid injections can be tried. GL!
