Depends on many ....: This is a simple, but loaded question. It really depends of the dosage and frequency of use (often once/day), funtional status of your liver and kidneys, nutritional status (protein-binding property of this med), and your age (kids get rid of quicker, slower in adult by factor of 2), and use of other medications. I am sure u r being monitored while on this med.. Consult doc regularly... Good luck.

6 to 12 weeks: That is the usual time course for the drug to build up in your system. Everyone is different so it could be shorter or longer time period.
