Listen to your doc.: Sounds like you have had a rough few months. You are seeing the right specialist. You should consider having a good internist manage your primary care with GI support.

Why the clots?: In addition to this, you might want to be evaluated to be sure that the clotting (DVT) does not have a separate cause that requires separate treatment.
