Ideas: Some folliculitis is due to pityrosporum ovale and responds very nicely to ketoconazole. There's a folliculitis mimic of the beard area is often best managed by a growing beard. Eosinophilic folliculitis is a tough call -- may need a derm consult or biopsy; will need a specific non-antibiotic rx.
