Maybe active areas,,: Your TSH normally goes down in response to the thyroid making more thyroid hormone, which can be due to nodules there that make more than they should. That may be why the radioactive iodine is used, to destroy a possible nodule. You're also on levothyroxine or thyroid hormone and you may be getting too much and it may lower tsh. Talk to your dr. About the best dosage. Good luck.
