doc or approach?: Most treatments take some time to be effective (weeks to months) and many patients w bipolar ii do not respond to initial treatment but end up trying a series of treatments before finding something that works, even under best practices. That said, treatments are often adjusted every few weeks to achieve good outcome, so perhaps a change in treatment rather than doc may be preferred.
