Can you explain?: If you're a guy, the hairier your chest, the sooner you'll probably get common male pattern baldness. All guys lose hair on the temples around age 20. Otherwise, hair loss from the scalp isn't normal. Hypothyroidism? Telogen effluvium? Other causes? Your physician can help.
