Whoa: If you are hypothyroid, it needs to be treated. Your hair loss will stop and it'll probably regrow. If you've had a lab diagnosis of hypothyroidism and are not being treated, or you have heavy hair loss from something like telogen effluvium or alopecia areata for which thyroid disease isn't the cause, get with a specialist.
