I just had an mri done of a shoulder injury. doctor says results are too "fuzzy" to tell what kind of injury it is. what causes the "fuzziness?"

Two thoughts: There may have been too much body motion by you during the examination. Less likely is the possibility of a poor quality scan as a result of technical issues with the scanner.
