OK if your content: Sexual desire is a normal desire for most individuals; it can be altered by many factors- medications; illness and emotional signals. From your statement about not wanting to be a single mom- i would urge you to look deep inside and ask yourself if don't fear the risk of sexual intimacy, abandonment by a partner that is perhaps squelching such urges. If its not then its ok.

Phobic behavior: Some people are phobic about snakes/spiders/ guns which are exaggerations of normal caution. We also know some adults are phobic about commitment or sex. The deep seated reasons for this vary but your mention of avoiding single parenthood is a clue. If you are happy with life let it be. If you are motivated to change find a therapist and explore the origin of this feeling.
