possible: Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud should lasts about 5 years, I do not know why you had a new one insert.However your periods have been normal for past year, it is not likely that this iud causes the problems.Perhaps you are under stress that affect your periods.It is best to cunsult your doctor about this.
