Repeat in morning: The earliest way to tell if you are pregnant is with an early detection pregnant test done on your first voided urine in the morning. This can be positive even a few days before a missed period. Your doctor's exam should be able to tell if it has been more than 4 weeks since ovulation.

Check again in 1 wk: If you're not having any severe bleeding or pain then the positive test could really be a sign of residual hormones/beta HCG from the previous pregnancy, which can last up to 60 days! dependent on your highest HCG peak; usually at 11wks (90000miu). Not much to worry about but definitely needs follow up. And at your follow up, consider your next contraceptive method!
