Interstitial problem: Renal epithelial cells are not normally found in the urine. Their presence reflects inflammation of the interstitial portion of the kidney and can be due to drugs, infections, or other diseases. Renal epithelial cells need to be differentiated from look like sunny side up eggs. Other findings could include blood and white blood cells. I'd recommend that your urine be examined by a nephrologist.
