What does it mean to have a result of wbc esterase trace abnormal? in a further study, the urine culture said there is 0-5 wbc and epithelial cells (non renal) 0-10. the urine culture also said that there is less than 10,000 colonies have formed?

These are normal results. You do not have a urinary tract infection.

Leukocyte (WBC) esterase, released from broken-down leukocyte, an indirect test for WBC in urine. Over 5 WBCs in urinalysis suggests possible UTI. UTI is confirmed by urine culture. The number of colonies of bacteria in your urine culture is not consistent with UTI unless your urine specimen was obtained by catheterization.
