Blood, bone marrow: Or from fetal cord blood in the U.S. In other countries all sorts of other, sometimes unethical methods are used. Collection depends on the source. If they're your stem cells, collection involves drawing of your blood or bone marrow and spinning it down in a centrifuge to collect a small amount of stem cells.
