Fine: I think that would be fine, as long as you don't reach up and rub your eyes. You may want to wear a sweatband to keep sweat from getting into your eyes.

Would not: Why take the chance of creating a problem for yourself? Your heart will be just fine if you miss a few days and give your eye a chance to more completely heal. After 5-7 days, you should be able to use the tread mill without worrying.
