Plural effusion on my chest xray what does it mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

fluid: That is fluid around the lung- between the lung and the inside of the chest wall- see the difference between the lung on the right side of the picture and the lung on the left side of the picture- the one on the left side of the picture has a large effusion.
