Not good idea: Alcohol promotes bleeding. If your rx included any type of surgery, alcohol consumption is not a good idea. If you've been numbed up, your minor salivary glands and your taste buds may be affected, adversely impacting on the beer's taste. Heal up first, then drink in moderation.
