Can tmj cause you to have numb lip and nose?

Not likely: Tmj syndrome causes much more serious aches and pains in the jaw, get evaluated by a dentist to see if this 'numbness' is dental or TMJ related!

Not necessarily: I have seen some cases where the patient had some numbness of the lip and nose, but the source was not related to a tmj/tmd issue. Balance is key, and if the teeth, muscles and jaw joints are out of alignment, it is possible for the other symptoms to appear.
