Physical therapy +++: The most important place to start is an excellent physical therapy center or rehabilitation center, where all aspects of the paralysis can be approached in a proper and therapeutic manner, without further harming the patient. Again, this must be done professionally. The personnel there will teach the patient and any one who is involved with helping care in the hows and what's of helping.
