Bulging discs: A punches nerve due to bulging discs in your neck can cause all sorts of pains from numb hands to severe headaches. Even heart attacks radiate into the jaw. Unless you've had a clear exam from your dentist, don't forget the obvious reason for jaw ache is tooth, gum, or some other oral problem. Have a dental exam before looking elsewhere.
