Can ovarian cancer be felt during exam?

In some cases: In some cases of ovarian cancer, a mass (or masses) can be felt in the pelvis with a manual vaginal examination. In advanced cases, a swollen abdomen from ascites can be seen on exam (but this is not specific for ovarian cancer). In most cases of ovarian cancer, the findings on exam are quite nonspecific.
