Not typically: Not usually. Muscle relaxants relax muscle spasms in skeletal muscles, which are not a real common cause of stomach cramps. The GI system uses what is known as smooth muscles to propel food through, and there are also many more common non muscle related causes of stomach cramping as well, such as for example irritable bowel syndrome.
