Logic: Teens generally are in excellent health so most reasons for them to go to a doctor are obvious - trauma, unexplained pain, blurry vision. Your teen would like to correct such problems. Some teens have chronic disease like diabetes and consider a doctor visit sort of a punishment - these are tough cases. Routine visits probably aren't needed in teens unless an inherited condition might be found.
