What is diabetic vitreopathy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

eye center changes: The vitreous is the gel that fills the inside of the back of the eye. When diabetes gets out of control, changes can occur in the retinal vessels and secondarily in the vitreous gel which can threaten vision and the health of the eye. If the vitreous is affected it is termed among other things, 'diabetic vitreopathy'.
