Blood cells in urine: It is common to see trace-small amounts of both red blood cells and white blood cells in the urine of women; and this simply means that the sample is contaminated. White blood cells (WBC) in urine is otherwise due to an infection, usually an urinary tract (bladder) infection (uti). Some red blood cells (rbc) can also be seen in uti. Rbcs in the urine are commonly seen with kidney stones.

Blood in urine: Blood is not normally in urine. If there is blood (rbcs and wbcs) in the urine and nothing else abnormal, then blood is entering your urine in some way. Are there symptoms like burning with urine, flank pain, recent infection, etc? In females this is common with recent period. See your doctor for further follow up as this needs to be looked at in a clinical context to be sure everything is good.
