Post polio syndrome: If you had polio in 50s and survived it.Then you can suffer from from post polio syndrome.It causes mild symptoms just pain and weakness to severe cases where you are not able to function as you loose many anterior horn cells from your spinal cord.But you will not die earlier than boomers.
