A member asked:

If i am pushing 65 should i go for a lot of tests or will having problems affect my ability to get supplemental coverage?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do recommended tests: Preventive tests and exams are generally covered without copay. As for which tests to get, i would inform yourself about which tests have actually been shown to work and then discuss them with your primary healthcare provider to see if they are right for you. A good resource with a list of proven preventive tests and vaccines by age and gender is an iphone app called my health checklist 2012.
