A member asked:

There is a knot on the top of my left foot, what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bump on foot: A "knot" or enlarged region on top of the foot may be a soft tissue problem called a ganglion cyst, especially if the area is soft and spongy. It may or not be painful. It may get bigger and smaller at times. Other types of problems may show up like this also, so you should have your podiatrist evaluate your foot. Treatment depends on the diagnosis.
