Staph aureus: This should be incised and drained and cultured so that the organism (commonly Staphylococcus aureus) can be isolated and tested for antibiotic sensitivities so that antibiotics can be given in concert with the minor surgical procedure necessary to drain it. If it is found that the lesion extends deeply into tissues or is a fistula you may need more detailed management. See a doctor.
