Yes: The dr will place you on the correct antibiotic and recommend warm compresses. If it has pointed enough, they may drain it. If it is not ready for drainage, they will give you instructions and possibly bring you back.

Yes see a doc: Besides its awkward positioning, it may require an incision & drainage- if so- pain medications and wound care may be necessary too. If the pus pocket doesn't get drained, you pain will only worsen and you risk a blood infectionas the pressure builds up.
