It is possible: Low potasium can cause cramps in foot but there are other things that can cause it like a neuroma. Have it looked at.

Possibly: There are many other things that can cause your foot to "cramp" or feel like a cramp. There could be biomechanical issues, other metabolic conditions, nerves and arthritis can feel like a foot cramp. I would see a podiatrist for further work-up.
