Get preop eval: Well. Your general anestheisa complications depends on your heart conditions, like arrhythmias, aortic stenosis, CHF and any ongoing anginal chest pain, recent mi in the last 6 months and also depends on surgery as well. So see your doctor and get pre-op eval.

You are a high risk : Patient. Make sure you have your surgery in a good hospital with anesthesiologists trained in critical care and a good icu. Also, make sure your cardiologist and pulmonologist are satisfied that your conditions are optimized prior to surgery.
